Do you have any connection with Mr. McMahon?

I'd sure like to tryout for the WWE. Like I always say, all any show needs is a swarthy Filipino to boost the ratings.

BTW, I'm hardly a sports fan. You're welcome to come to help me test if I could bore a knife through a human skull.

It's not obvious Koojo, because you're not taking into account life experiences like playing soldier with BB guns or having bitch slap fights with your buddies as a kid.

The US Airforce and Navy are now using a lot of Fighter Aircraft simulation programs to train pilots how to fly. This is a valid training program.

Kids like Rumbrae must have logged in thousands of hours playing fighting type video games like Tekken, Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. In some games you can pick up bottles, pipes or any other tool off the street to use against your opponent. In other games you can even pick up on a hooker; pay her to give you a blow job to replenish your energy and then beat her with a pipe and steal her money afterwards. See...what I mean? This is the kind of reality training Rumbrae and others like hime have done.

Rumbrae's mindset has been programmed through hours of simulated video combat training. He is a killing machine, an assasin, a collector and you're only getting in the way. Just like the boss in the final stage of a video game.

You have to take this into account.

Yo folks...

May be off on a tangent again... but what kind of neighbourhoods do y'all live in, where "fighting" either real, or imagined, forms such a large part of your reality?
(Maybe it's just too much testosterone and macho-man attitudes)

Make love... not war? - it's a much better use for your excess testosterone.
Or get the **** outta the city and move to the country, folks are friendlier there!

And Maynard... that plug about knives in skulls seemed psychotic... let alone stupid.
Pretty sad if your commentary tends to deteriorate to such a level?
Play nice.

eh, shut up! Don't read it if it offends your fine sensibilities you nit!

A Lover, what the heck are you doing on a martial arts website? Did you mistake Shenwu for a chinese cooking website? Why don't you go pick some pansies from your country garden! By the way, you sound like you could use a little testosterone.

Ha, Lover may be able to kick all our asses for all we know, bad testosterone-based judgement aside.

Thanx for the vote of confidence Kenneth... who knows? Don't think I'll be around So. Cal. to find out any time soon. Wrong 'hood for a guy like me.

Like you said above, there is quite a difference between ritual and survival fighting. I don't indulge in "ritual" these days (although if I were to start comparing my scars with Maynerd's, arguably I might come out on top???)

In a "survival" fight, again as you said in another post - it's usually the first blow that decides the fight. My first (and second) (and third) blows with the elements of total surprise, experience, power training and serious intent, might just be the decisive ones. If not, I guess I would probably end up collecting more scars... :>(

But, like I say... rather be a lover than a fighter. Try it sometime, my MA brothers... you can't be fighters (and young) forever?

Anytime, A Lover. It takes progressive thinkers like us to keep hotheads like Meynard out of trouble.

By koojo (Unregistered Guest) on Sunday, May 09, 2004 - 06:03 pm: Edit Post

Where would Meynard be without you?

By Meynard on Sunday, May 09, 2004 - 08:32 pm: Edit Post

Scars? I don't have scars from fights. I'm pretty. I must be doing something right.

Kenneth wipe that off your nose and stop sticking it up A Lover's ass. What a little ass kisser you are...labeling yourself a progressive thinker...really?? LOSER!

See what I mean? Without wiser heads such as yours truly, Meynard would be walking around a prison yard wearing eye-shadow and lipstick.

By (an Old Lover... and fighter) (Unregistered Guest) on Monday, May 10, 2004 - 12:09 am: Edit Post

Yeah... then he'd find out about being a lover & fighter!
He's also a pretty boy because he always uses all that protection and fights according to "rules".
All these young guys think they are indestructible...
I'm old enough to be Meynard's father, and have developed a different perspective on the fight scene from my years in the MA.
Meynard should put all this in a time capsule and open it in 20 or 30 years (if he's still around) and see how foolish he used to talk and act.
IMHO

Old man,

Nobody ask you to give anyone a moral lesson. Nobody ask you to give a sermon.

I can't stand people like you who like to lecture and yet do not even have the guts to post your real name and identity.

It's nice to be anonymous, huh? You don't have to be responsible for whatever you say.

I think I know who you are. Let it be known. When I confirm this you and I will have to continue this conversation face to face.

By (An anonymous Lover) (Unregistered Guest) on Monday, May 10, 2004 - 05:51 am: Edit Post

Yure right... you didn't ask for a sermon... but yure getting one. (Don't read it, if you don't want to. There is still (sometimes, at least) freedom of speech in this country)
First... you've already lost the first round of this (verbal) confrontation... you're angry... why?
Second... don't worry about who I am, and where I live - it isn't in So. Cal. (And I've got no desire to go there... sorry, don't see it as a pleasant environment)
Third... don't worry about continuing this face to face - you might bring those knives you allude to... but I might bring my 9mm. (You lose again, dude.)
Fourth... too bad you are so young and macho you have failed (so far) to learn & realize that martial arts have much more to offer (to anybody)than the physical skills and abilities at which you seem to excel. Perhaps you should ask Tim to teach you about the mental/emotional/spiritual aspects of your chosen sport, plus a little humility... I believe he knows about these things & I (personally) think you might benefit from a broader perspective of the MA. So much to learn... so little time. Work at it, bro'.
Fifth... look into an anger management course too... seems you might need one and can probably benefit from it... that way, you might not attract so much aggro and have to get into so many fights to prove your stuff.

Again... only MHO.

An anonymous Lover....My God! I know who he is! He is the master Yoda! Meynard, you better listen to him if you want to continue in the Jedi arts. Stay away from the darkside.

Ahhhhh....what a bunch of B.S.

By Meynard on Monday, May 10, 2004 - 11:47 am: Edit Post

Another enlightened ,opinionated, internet shifu wannabee. Don't you have something better to do than waste peoples time lecturing behind the anonymity of your computer screen? Coward!

You're a joke. I simply can't take you opinions seriously! No one does. ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Come over to the darkside Meynard. You'll become more powerful.

By Meynard on Monday, May 10, 2004 - 12:51 pm: Edit Post

I'm there. I was seduced by the darkside a long time ago.

By Kenneth Sohl on Monday, May 10, 2004 - 03:16 pm: Edit Post

Meynard, are you half-asian or full?

By chris hein on Monday, May 10, 2004 - 07:14 pm: Edit Post

Hmm lover,
While you say some intelligent things, you're sure full of the fact that you're "older" and wiser. When a man says "you can trust me", you usually can't and when a man tells me he's wiser-he's prolly not. I have no doubt you're old, but I think you're bitter about it. Maybe you should make some amends yourself.
