There is a new book entitled Nei Jia Quan by Jess O¡¦ Brien that features a lengthy interview with Tim Cartmell along with interviews of Gabriel Chin, Gail Derin-Kellog, Bruce Frantizis, Paul Gale, Fong Ha, William Lewis, Luo De Xiu, Allen Pittman, James Wing Woo, Tony Yang, Zhao DaYuan and in the appendix, Albert Liu.
I thought the interviews with Tim and with Luo Laoshi were very well done. I recommend the book highly and thought it might be of interest to folks on this board. Plus it has photos of Meynard being the "crash test dummy" (uke) for some of Tim's techniques.
Take care,
Brian
Thanks Brian,
The book is well done, there's alot of good information by a number of teachers with various takes on the IMA. Cool people should get a copy.
The book is GREAT. Jess rules. He basicly asked the same questions to a bunch of teachers and just let'em talk.
There's a very cool picture of my arm holding a pad for Tim.
