Tim,
Have you seen Adam Hsu's Thunder Style Hu Lei zhao bao DVD? It's called rebirth of thunderstyle taiji. If so what did you think of it? Is it similar to the version you teach?

Yes! that is a very honest review.
Tim has a talent for taking classic principles and presenting them in a clear and organized manner.
I paid $100.00 for this book while it was out of print and it was worth it. (good thing I got it signed by the author)
I will have to update my VHS video to DVD (or digital ?) Because I learn better visually and when I saw the video in action it made all the text come together in a way that appeared so simple I felt foolish I did not understand it earlier.
Hey but that is me :-)
But I think I may be preaching to the choir here when I say to anybody reading this: if you like throws this book and DVD combination will open up a whole new level of soft, gentle technique- EFFORTLESS.

I might get the new DVD only cause I hate DVDs without menus. It's impossible to learn grappling from a book unless you already have experience. I like what the reviewer said in his review. "If you have trouble pulling these throws off on a non-resisting partner you aren't doing them right". Something like that.

I think some people look at the title and forget the other guy is going to resist you like mad.

Such a great book and DVD. Truly the "science" of throwing.
