I just read your introduction and you're definitely not the same Jason I used to train with in the 90's.

All weapon tecniques are extensions of the physical hand techniques. Know one to know the other. The better you are at hand to hand the better you are at weapons. In this sense, obviously, weapons are taught. The greatest weapon being the mind.
