-I'm sure the Gracies and their millons of followrs are willing to have you prove them wrong and your right.

I ussually charge extra to pop a students ego and always make my students pay more to be targeted whippimg boy of my drunken rages and focus of my over bearing redicule.
u wrote -"I think they were just picked on in High school and they are looking for retrobution. Misdirected anger type of stuff"

-Your an idiot I know that. thats why I treat you like an idiot
"Have you ever thought about anger management course?"
I have no desire to manage my anger,
I prefer getting rid of it.
Jack V your an incredible imbicil but I think thats is what iot takes for somebody to actually believe there is any merit in the United Martial Art Studios chain mall of schools. Anybody can open one up if the have the money it's a Dominos, McDonalds franchise for martial artist like those resturaunts are for chefs, and your of the perfect mentality to run one. all talk and no walk, when you get out of jail in Mexico come on up and prove me wrong.
It is almost beneth even me to respond to insanity of your tangential haranges but then again nothing is beneath Tai Chi Bob. I am the lowest and there is only room for one of us at the bottom Jack V, so move up, show up, or shut up.
Oh and why is it every other place in the world is able to use their computers and they are comnpatible enough to build a profile but you're not?
Are you just to stupid, to know and act on how to solve this simple proplem, after all you are postulating your worth and superior knowledge and ability on a internet forum.
Does being proficiant in the media that you use to chastise the world for their ignorance through have any merit?
Hey Jack,
United Martial Arts? Got it. My bad.
Still, I can't be too critical of strip mall martial arts, I teach in one and we learned our Kung Fu in one.
T.C.Boob, Grow up, moron. Your problem is your mother DID swallow (yours)
on the contrary... tai chi boobs mother shouldve swallowed his little gametes while she had the chance,
either that or tai chi boob sr. shouldve practiced his withdrawal skills a little more, and aimed for an already solied spot on the couch.
sometimes the level of maturity on this board hits rock bottom...what lower than rock bottom?
Exactly, san soo sucks!
TCB,
For shits and gigles I cheecked out your profile. Sorry, I actually thought you knew something.
Larry Bird with a beard, Haaaaaa. What a cook 1st class.
The hick from French Lick.
Now, anybody got any good San Soo stuff to say?
I can't belive they let you out of the trailer park.
Do you own a bicycle? I hope they don't let you drive.
Oh my God, look at this guy!!!!!!
Jack, why don't you post a picture of yourself.
"Lice breath, if you were ever in El Monte, you would not speak with such disrespect about Tim's Sifu, would you now?"
Hey handsome, If you really knew Tim's Sifu - don't you think he would think that is funny. We had alot of good laughs in El Monte. He had a great sense of humor. Yours is a little sensitive lately. Learn to live in the moment jackoff
Oh yeah, El Monte is beautiful in the Spring...
The ever remembering Betty...
Two things Unregisterd guest
1 there was no couch invovled it was the backseat of a 54 disoto
2 I have never claimed to have left the trailer park
#3 I unlike you I have never claimed to know more that I claim to know (basically only BOB style Tai Chi), unlike you whom seems to knows everything and claims because knowing and acting are the same that you can do everything and anything. Both of which you have ever been able to demonstrate either in cyber or the real world.
I am completley tranquil in my stoned drunken psyco-pschodelic unachieving world of cyber trailer park scum it is my speciality.
LOL Tai Chi Bob. Some people take themselves too seriously
And some don't
So,
Anybody got sumpin to say besides evaluations of the Jackster?
Betty, what did you learn in El Monte?
TCB, I don't think life is a dream. I want to affect my surrounding when they are unnatural. I seek not to tamper with them when they are natural.
If you wish not to participate - abuse on. Inebriation, like all things has it time.
I was naive to think that there could be some discussion of San Soo or other character confidence aspect of the martial arts.
However, as I wrote before, I enjoy reading my writing and changing up styles. Sometimes there is even some significant exchange. I have posted with wit, sarcasm, humor and plain old smart-ass piss off text.
My bizarre life has been enabled by my learning in El Monte and other places, however it has been the overall humanity of a man that was at one time in his life incredibly in-human that has impacted me most. Way beyond technique.
The point is character. Jimmy's character enabled other to invent, discover or build thier character. With character people find talking, hanging out, exchanging life stories to be enjoyable, educational and a loads of fun.
You guys do not derive character from your hours of training. I find that to be a significant loss.
A big reason I like Central America is it attracts characters. And the central Americans, for the most part, are not afraid to share themselves sincerely.
So if you even paid the least bit of attention to your Uncie here, you learned something or at least question yourself about a couple of things - or - you were slightly amused to entertain. That is entertainment with content. That my friend is the requisite of character. Lice eater, I mean Limpy, you said you laughed a lot in El Monte (of course you have not given me one iota of proof that you were ever there, but I'll extend you a pass on that one).
The point is Jackster gave you some funny smart ass juice, real life wisdom and authentic experience with content.
So boys and girls, some show a bit of personality, except for you Tim (just kidding, Jackster’s gotta stir it up you know, wouldn't want to get branded), but no content (except a handful of other that have not participated in this thread, IE: the one in combat to sport thread had some great posts). Most of you have no desire to learn anything from Kung Fu San Soo even though your teacher spent a decade in it. That should at least pique your curiosity.
You choose to attack the actor, and disregard the content. Even when it was delivered as infotainment.
Your loss …..
PS All this crap I right is merely my opinion. I do not know, I mean really know much. Almost all of it is based on some sort of assumption, as is most of life.
Writing cannot reveal the depth of my inner knowing, which is created through using deliberate feeling. Although it could be explained as intuition, it has no techno - scientific existence. Except it works in all aspects of life and is a significant tool in addressing the unnatural and leaving what is natural to proceed in its own time.
So TV heads and connoisseur of sad culture, I squarely place the ball in your court.
Your cantankerous and bombastic bullshitter, Uncie J
PS Whatever you do, don’t lose the clicker.
you wrote-"You guys do not derive character from your hours of training. I find that to be a significant loss. "
Actually I have found most of us do derive character ( even if they are not the ones your godliness approves of) from hours of training.
It is the hours of internet posting that has been a significant loss for me- your postings being among the most driviling on self-absorbed ramblings that go on and on and say nothing.
You wrote-"You choose to attack the actor, and disregard the content. Even when it was delivered as infotainment. "
Quite the contrary being that none of us have met you (maybe save TIM) to my knowledge and your are too incompetant or unwilling to divulge yourself in the profile forum or elsewhere- actually none of us have anything but content; to evaluate, and attack you on.
and I must point out for it to be "infotainment" it must be both informative and entertaining- I conceed you have some entertaining aspects as low as I must delve to find them but the only information you have really driven home over and over againg is what a unsavory character you are.
Thank You Jack because without characters like you this bulletin board would be about Mixed Martial Arts and Kung Fu and such boring topics like that.
I mean after an endless day of trainnig who really wants to bore themselves with the crap of dueling discussion board post at home?
Maybe only the know-it-alls that have something left over from the mat. Bores that for some reason have not been able to leave it all out on the mat.
bores like you Jack V
honestly you have nothing on Maynard, James Koojo, backarcher or Chris Haines to name a quick few. They seem to be able to express information the is entertaining because it interesting and informative, not because it is shocking and quasi-emotional.
Maybe your jounalistic skills overlook their sincerity, courage and fearless honesty to express themselves as who they are and even broadcast their photos and make real open gentelmanly challanges steeped in Gracie tradition.
News flash : Jack
- El Monte, Martial Arts and the most of the rest of the world have grown and changed over the past twenty years.
Come on Jack surrender and join the winners in MMA and leave the third world and the 1980's behind you.
Join the winning side and be less insulting for the new year.
Tai Chi Bob, couldn't have said it better myself.
Bob#3 ever hear the song 5 agianst the world by Story of the Year?
guess what Jack, me, MHW, and i know there is two more out there but we are the five agianst the belief that you only need the actual fighting techniques to understand MA!!!
You sounded like the damn devil to me there-"News flash : Jack
- El Monte, Martial Arts and the most of the rest of the world have grown and changed over the past twenty years.
Come on Jack surrender and join the winners in MMA and leave the third world and the 1980's behind you.

Brainwash your own students.
Anyway Jack i read all the MHW stuff and i wrote down my thoughts and all that good stuff throughout the articles so here ya go-
~don't have to be the best but only your best
~you don't need to compete to be knowledgable in kung fu, you need to "know" yourself, at this point you will have the confidence to not compete.
~those who posses the inner knowing do not care about anything but the "relationship they have on themselves, others, and spirituality." In other words the ones who don't realize this and all they do is compete and put themself up on a pedastle are wastiing their time taking martial art, yes, they learn self defense but not the true meaning.
~kung fu is meant to learn how to use logic and strategy so like you could possibly be able to intimidate your opponet by your confidence, not over confidence(by this i mean talkng smack) but kind of a suave air around you.
~"coopertative hand to hand combat is a practice of leading and following" Sounds like a pretty intense game of follow the leader to me, be the attacker and the other follows the attacks by defending them
~i like what he says about the the fun gauge thing but come on i'm 15, i live for hanging out with friends and flirting with all the hot girls and playing a good ol' game of smack ass with them, but i got my down time too.
~competion in sports teaches us to always go for the win in life but sometimes you need to give in and not go against everything head on
~love what he says about how you have to learn how to crawl, walk, then run but is it just me or is our society all about the running and then facing all of our problems five years down the road.
~Heavy stuff about how he talks about selfishness and selflessness. Has anybody noticed how young children are always willing to give a helping hand to anyone and are very trusting but as they get older that urge to help goes away and as adults you rarely find one that will help you?? We are born with these but why do you guys think they evaporate??????
Seems like everyone is blaming the music we listen to, the video games we play, and the television we watch! HMMMMMMMMMM what one should i pick? Music sounds great! Okay everyone i'm a jerk because of the music i listen to!!!!
LMFAO
It's not any of these; these are choices we make so these are our own fault.
I mean come on, i love hard rock and heavy metal(a good ol' headbang is good every now and then!), i watch MTV, and i have played Grand Theft Auto but does this mean i am a gothic desensitized cerial killer?? No, it's what you let affect you that actually will!
~body command the mind- deep then what part of you is the concience?
well that is it and i gotta go cause my friend Melanie wants to "talk"

Apprentice, there is nothing wrong with the kung foo you are studying if you do it for the reasons you say (which is more philosophical than practical self defense). However, if one's goal is to learn how to fight, training using non-cooperative sparring, and competing in non-cooperative events is much better. Keep in mind that if you ever get into a real fight, your oppenent IS non-cooperative.
James Koojo
I could have not said the above any better either.
-Oh and by the way I have nothing aganst Kung Fu San Soo the type I was introduced to in Long Beach in the 1980's had a Philosophy of "Kung Fu Street Fighting" techniques over forms and sparring long hours was the only way to learn how to fight. I liked that idea and still do.
Any way even Tai Chi Bob must digress-
if we are going to mention music on the Kung Fu San Soo thread.
I heard an alblum -oddly enough called "All Jacked up" {(having nothing to do with our JACK V.)Alhough his ego may never admit it} by a female country singer named G. Wilson a real sweety for the hearts of white trash in trailer parks all over the USA.
Yes, Tai Chi BOB has fallen in love-
This lady sings about beer drinking, whiskey guzzlin', tobacco chewing and being politically UNcorrect, all in grammer that is incorredt with a Loretta Lynn type of personal pride.
All summed up with the impression left on ol TCB that by most standards she is loser. What impresses me is her ability to sing about who she is and how she lives with a sincere self love and knowledge and un pretensive pride.
Me too
I may be a stonrd drunk white trash loser but it has taken a lot work for me to get to this point and I am proud of of it.
Someday when I get some money I may even buy that alblum.
Whhoooooha - I just had one of those burp-ups-barf- swallows tasted kinda like like last weeks chil-mac -tuna casorole. sweet-
I guess LOVE does that to a man.
here's a link to an article irrelevant to martial arts but relevant to this discussion- I think.
There are some other very interesting ideas on the page but that's digressing even further.
http://www.edge.org/q2006/q06_5.html#goleman
If you think that the link is really pointless, and actually I'm becoming like enforcer (bless him) then please let me know and I'll post a picture of myself with my address and invitation to hunt me down and put me out of my misery.
best wishes
Edward
bob#3 why don't you just download LIMEWIRE and then this way you can just download her songs for free? Personally I like "rednack woman" more and "here for the party" is also good but "when i think about cheatin'" doesn't float my boat but yes "all jacked up"s a fairly good song.
See now this way you can download without paying any money so your trailer trash butt can listen to music for free. I hope you have a high speed connection though cause otherwise it will take forever.
i've downloaded over a hundred songs from there and do not fear, it's not illegal, it's only music "sharing."
see now this way you could even download the music video (or any other video of your choice) so you can love Mrs. Wilson any time not just when her music video comes on CMT.
anyway Jack, where have ya been man?
oh and something i forgot to say in the post above, Mon Haw Woo and you have a lot in common, you both are a Jack of all trades.
