is it obvious I can't stop posting here because I'm dying to be respected, apprecaited and understood?
Senior V. A question.
Have you ever seen the tusk with the engraved futga lessons on it?
No.
Have you?
No, only heard about it once from one of my instructors.
With everything I have learned from your posts the "V" stands for victory. Victoria in latin. And when you get kicked off the board, "V" for the latin word vito, meaning shunned.
A big thank you for helping to make my education complete!
Maybe sometime in the future we can meet. I am planning to stop through L.A. in the next few months for a layover at an ex's house!
Cool.
Yeah I wish Tim would ban me for making sense again. I could use the break.
Speaking of victory, you know it is more than merely winning. Wining is like a bike with training wheels, beginners stuff. Victory bestows gifts to all, not just the perceived momentarily declared winner. What a lame concept "winner and loser" there is no such thing, only exists in peoples minds and was designed to facilitate the rules of man.
Victory is crucial and has nothing to do with winning. Winning is for insignificant little mat stuff. Victory is for the big mat.
I'm in S CA from time to time. Have lots of connection on the west side of LA.
Live in O.C. by the beach. What part of LA you gonna be in, maybe we can meet some where. Who do you study with and how long. Did you study with Jimmy or a first generation teacher.
There were a lot of good technician; however, most of the guys never got the cultural stuff.
A lot of them suffered from bitter sibling rivalry. Jimmy was a powerful smiling presence. He could walk into a room and people who did not know him, knew he was somebody. Kids gravitated to him and when he taught kung fu power and the students did not pay attention to the culture, well it created gaps in the overall educations. These gaps were peoples inability to use their power for more than there selfish interests, thus the sibling rivalry.
A complete education should build your intuitive ability. Remember kung fu is the art of the heart. The heart has its own "mind" and by building body knowledge the mind of the heart thinks for us and helps us to remain true to our chosen self definition. Noticed I said chosen.
We inherit a self-definition from our youth; Kung fu education is a declaration of reinventing or remodeling our self-definition. It is a commitment to examine our self and determine what is useful and what is not. Keep the useful and scrap the useless.
It is a rebirth, an oath to accountability, reason, intuition and knowing. The power of knowing is very important. Here lays true strength and the one thing that can never be taken away, your confidence. Jimmy often said, ‘a man can take my life but he can never take my confidence or character.”
Remaining true to your self-created definition, in the face of temptation such as quick gain and seduction is the measure of a kung fu soul. Your self-definition does not have to be according to anything except what you find to be you. I suggest you start with your elements of power and build from there.
Remember to explore the mind by learning to feel the body. When facing opposition and all the chip are on the line feeling the body reminds you of who you are and what you know. No mind chatter to spin this and what-if that; only pure memory through spinal consciousness.
Body knowledge through repetition and the combination of cultural concepts held in your subconscious while working out creates knowledge, a philosophical cache that is ingrained into your muscles along with your movements. It allows the body to "remember." When the body remembers, as opposed to mind memory, memories are pure, always the same, perfect consistency.
This type of consistency enables you to know yourself accurately, spontaneously and in the moment. It also enables you to choose when to be insulted or complimented, it give you control of your buttons. That is why the power of now is such a great kung fu book. It exposes what the kung fu artist strives for - life in the moment. Remember everything is according to the moment. How important is the moment? It’s the only thing you have.
Confidence in Character.
Kung Fu Jack signing out.
Asta La Vista Nene!! (that was for you Pan)

As far as who I studied under..... I'll leave you a lineage in initials(the astericks are who I have studied directly with)
Starting with Jimmy H. Woo., F.W., D.H. and C.P., B.H., *K.A., *R.D., *R.M.( 3degree ejected from dojo awhile back). Recieved black belt about a year ago under *R.D.. To my knowledge *K.A. had met and/or studied with Jimmy H. Woo directly.
Hope this helps.
P.S
I look foward to meeting you and would love at some time to take a trip to meet Master Cartmell. We kinda look alike.....I have less hair on top though!
Good luck with your uncle Senior V!
O yea, my real initials are J.K.
I never met Frank W, He influenced so many people. Wonder what ever happened to him?
Do you know?
As far as Bill H goes, he is a good guy and well dedicated. I lose the train of teachers from there.
PS It's our uncle.
As if it isnt extremely highlighted in every single one of my posts, from my lame jokes to the meandering posts which seem to babble on and on about nothing. I truly amaze myself.
Yo entiendo sobre nuestro tio.
Frank Woolsey. As I understand it made millions went big game hunting retired and has nothing to do with kung fu anymore.
As far as the chain goes, student of C.P. is my instructors instructor.
Only been doing this four years.....have a long way to go.....
Anyone have any thoughts on this...
In San Soo their are five "styles" of movement. Each with its own "attitiude". Could these be used to assess personality in a student at different levels of attainment?
For Instance:
Some one liking numpi because of its ducking/around concept, not always meeting head to head. Could this mean that they prefer to avoid head on situations in life?
Or someone who likes Futga because they have an offensive or possibly a "bully" personality?
Tim, the posts are not degrading your censorship tactics are. They show a lack of confidence, regardless of your excuses. So the last post you deleted was, what? Not to your liking?
If you are going to come down with the more righteous than thou editorial slice, why then do you not at least reveal the "rules."
I have always screwed with this board knowing that you could see thorgh my personas de jour, but I am begining to lose respect for you and your "take my ball and go home" tactics.
Hey, if you do not want me to post then just say so. The passive/agressive deal is more suited to women, don't you think.
apprentice here,
nice to see u back "the vincent diety"

Jack,
What are you talking about?
The last post I deleted was a link to a crucifix in urine because it offended your delicate sensibilities.
This whining doesn't become you,
Try to man up a little.
jack v is just some kid who reads a lot of crap and spits it back out in a pseudo-philosophical load. You have a bit of san soo knowledge and worship Jimmy Woo.. "Master Jimmy said this and master Jimmy said that..." get your own opinons kid. You are apparently someone who posts bs just to get your kicks. alluding to some kinda military experience or secret agent bs also. What are you practicing for writing storybooks or something? James Bond movies? You are not even a real person. Some loser who quotes philosophy books. Don't you see the point of philosphy is not to copy .... You are some kinda phony bs artist. I doubt u will ever go away.... too bad for everyone else
Whatever, I posted a long reply and it was a dam good post. If it got lost in the ether, deleted by "who knows" or was due to my mistake in posting - I do not know. However, Tim by your protest I believe that you did not delete that post - maybe it was Shane. Any ways, what a Shame!
It is anticlimactic when you write a long detailed reply and it evaporates. Although I am cantankerous and reasonably rude, I am conscientious of content, therefore expectant of rowdy debate, ruffled feathers or profuse praise. Also I am incredibly busy and have less time for you heathens, even though you desperately need me.
Weather my work is liked or disliked; it always stimulates response, which makes these stinking wages you pay tolerable. No more straight man for you Tim if another post mysteriously vanishes – you to Shamless.
Its kewl to quote Masters and Grandmaster. Worshipping them? Hey lets worship Jimmy H. Woo's teacher, no, I mean his teacher, no, I mean his teacher.

Bark up a different tree, Jack.
I don't have Admin rights on this site. (if I did, there wouldn't be any Unregistered guests.... and I'd block the heck out of trollers like yourself).
apprentice here,
really shane, then how were u able to put my email adress on this board a few months ago? come on now, enlighten me!!!!! i will mos-def be awaiting ur answer!!!!
ttfn
apprentice
are you saying I setup an ID for you and then put your Email address on it? Or are you claiming I somehow found your Email address and posted it on the board?
If I did the former for you, I acted like any normal poster and clicked on "Register" typed in a user name (apprentice) entered a password and an Email address (one I made up just for you).
I don't remember ever knowing your Email address.... (maybe the years abusing drugs as a struggling rockstar took it's toll.) If I put 'your' Email address on the ID, here's the mos-def way I did it...
I clicked "edit profile" used the apprentice ID and Password I'd made up... and "change email address" and input 'your' email address. A link was sent to that Email address which you could have clicked to activate the change.
Its suprisingly easy to register, nearly as easy as enlightening you.
When did I ever have your Email address?
(I only remember setting up an ID with Email for one guy over a year ago... and his name was Jerry something)
Shane,
Your best bet is to ignore this stupid kid and jack v both have nothing to contribute here or anywhere else for that matter.
