I trained at the Shen Wu Academy several years ago (I plan on coming back very soon!) and one of my favorite concepts Tim showed me was "sticking" which was, as I understood it, using your entire body to move an opponent rather than just the arms. It is a great grappling tool! I was wondering if it had ever been used as its own martial art.
Hey Carl,
The concept of "sticking" is used to organize technique and strategy in several martial arts, but, so far, there's no "sticky boxing" as a separate art.
ps Carl is the only person in the history of my academy to burst two of my heavyweight water filled punching bags with punches.
