Just curious if they are here.
Or... any dedicated Bagua-as-a-fighting-art teachers in Poland ;-) ?
Unfortunately, I don't have any students in Poland.
I believe that Dr. Yang Jwing-ming has several study groups in Poland and some of them focus on the bagua he learned from Liang Shouyu. Try checking Yang's website ...
Heheh I've just translated the latest Bagua DVD into Polish for Master Yang ;-)
Afaik Bagua is not part of the YMAA main curriculum. When training at YMAA I was taught ChangQuan and White Crane, and my teacher also had a separate Yang Taiji group. I didn't know that there are YMAA groups in Poland focusing on Bagua, although I knew that Master Yang introduces circular stepping and a few Bagua methods to his advanced Taiji students. I will check the information (thank you Michael !)
A question for Mr. Cartmell: and... would you like to have students in Poland ?
Sebastian,
Would I like to have students in Poland?
Yes, I would.
Good to know
So now it's only a matter of finding the best way to make it happen...
Btw. I've tried to buy your book, "Xing Yi Nei Gong" in Poland, but no luck (yet). Because the p&p is often much higher than the cost of the ordered goods, I used the biggest Polish importer of foreign books Empik.com and the search engine returns only two other books ("Passing the Guard" and "Effortless Combat Throws") and both are listed as "currently unavailable". I wonder who they get them from. Will try finding another source, stay tuned !
Sebastian,
The Xing Yi Nei Gong book is in the process of being reprinted, it should be available soon.
