Ba Gua movement in Yi Quan/Dachengchuan

Tim's Discussion Board: Ba Gua Zhang : Ba Gua movement in Yi Quan/Dachengchuan

From what I've read, Wang Xangzhai encouraged martial artists to do the single and double palm changes and to "understand their meaning." But I haven't seen a lot of Ba Gua movement in my Yi Quan/Dachengchuan research. Has anyone else?

Side note: I just bough the Chin Na book Tim translated and it's amazing.

Stephen,
In Wang XuanJie lineage there is some bagua influence.

When I was looking into Yi Chaun, there seemed to be quite a variation not just in how it was taught but what was taught. You can see this particulary in what is taught as the basic postures.
