Hello Have practised this stlye and was wondering what you all thought of it, any comparasions to Gao stlye.Have also been taught the single and double change of the Fu Zhen Song but are very different from Jiang Style
The Jiang Rong Qiao style is in the Cheng Ting Hua lineage (like the Gao style), but the forms are quite a bit different. One major difference is that the Gao style is divided into the Pre-Heaven eight circle forms and the Post-Heaven sixty-four straight line forms. Jiang style Ba Gua Zhang has no such division and only includes eight forms on the circle.
Part of What Tim said is not True, the Jiang Rong Qiao style have a post heaven straight line form. The system also have more then eight Kua' on the circle.
Do you know of any examples of the straight line forms? I practice Jiang Baguazhang and have never heard of these.
Are we possibly referring to the 72 leg techniques?
