I can feed myself, thank you.
I wonder if Chris Seaby and 'Wondering' are the same person (this looks like a job for "SYSOP"
I wonder how many times you've asked that about someone who posts here?
I wonder how many times you were right?
Looks like a job for who cares. ;->
four times
I was correct three times
Does that make me the exception that proves the rule? ;->
Hi, Shane. No we aren't the same person. I was agreeing with Chris' points about practice and intellectualizing, and at the same time expressing appreciation for what seemed to me some interesting discussion of power generation and root.
I may have deduced from one of your posts that you and Bob#2, are however, the same person? Maybe I misunderstood. But if you see him, could you tell him I like his sense of humor?
Best...
Next time Bob#2 surfaces, depending on his mood, I'll pass along your compliment. Although in my experience he is devoid of humor.
That's because he is devoid of feet! His humor is simply not rooted. I think that calls for a belly laugh.
by the way, aside from two ill-fated tries at humor (the result of lapsed judgement) Bob#2 and I have never 'point and counter pointed' each other. When posters do that- it drives me batty.
me too! Very insightful and well stated as always, Shane.
Back to the original point of this thread;
What I found most bothersome about the 'zoo keeper' story was the implication that monkeys could 'vehemently oppose' segregated lunch times.
I pointed out (between strikes) to my monk that monkeys so inteligent would NEVER have fallen for such an obvious ruse.
I turned to Taoism to find inner peace, harmony and a good excuse to wear a bathrobe 24-7. All I found was a bad hair cut and stories about super inteligent, morbidly gullible primates. The only valuable insight I got from the lecture was that it is no small coincedence that the words "monk" and "monkey" are so closely related.
