On your dvds you do the format compressing onto your back leg, placing your front leg out with no weight, and then pushing up for your front leg to generate power while your back leg comes up. Aren't you off balance pushing off of one leg?
I've done a little yang style tai ji. They compress onto the backleg but dot seem to push off the front leg. Are they supposed to be generating power the way you do in sun tai ji?

In application, as opposed to practice forms, the Yang style generates force fundamentally the same as the Sun form.
