Does anyone know where I can find info on the Sun style Pole or Spear form...Any Videos, books etc. Thanks

Sun Jianyun once told me Sun Lutang never taught the spear to his students.

I believe these forms exist anyone have any knowledge of them?

Even if Sun Lu Tang taught the spear to his most advanced student... why would that mean there are tapes and books available on it?

My teacher explained to me many years ago that there existed not only a spear but a pole form as well...was just wondering if there was any info out there on them....just thought it would be interesting to see how the Sun style incorporated these weapons as my teacher only knew of their existence but was never taught them.

There's always the possibility that maybe your teacher doesn't know what he is talking about.

Yes Meynard...there is always that possibility...but then again the other possibility that he did know also exists...I was only asking if others knew of the existence of these forms...from your comments I see you don't know either...thanks for your input though.

I know the Sun Spear Forms. I could write a book or do a DVD and make tons of money. But, I have to say, knowing these forms is like having the perfect woman... I don't want to share them with just anyone.
