Were these slow exercises part of the curriculum when you were learning ZB?
I read that Xiong Wei was in a dance troupe. You think a lot of the stuff he is teaching was to make dancers more limber? The ankle twisting, wrist twisting, etc.
In the fourth video down with the guy on the green stage it looks like he is doing the wave exercise you showed me. Why do they do it all slow like that in their tai ji dao yin

I trained with one of Xiong Wei's students. I only met Xiong Wei once.
Xiong Wei wasn't a dancer. He worked with the Yun Men dance troupe at their invitation because they wanted to learn Xiong Wei's method of movement and incorporate it into some of their dances.
As far as I know, Xiong Wei didn't create any dance specific exercises, he taught his regular Taiji Daoyin curriculum.
Taiji Daoyin is done slowly because it's based on Taijiquan forms, which are done slowly.
The set of 8 exercises you showed me for zb tai ji should be performed slowly like in those videos?
Tim, in the video that Timber sent, some performers shook violently. What was all that about?
I thought that was a little strange. Maybe they were moving so slow they built up excess tension and was forced to shake it out
What was the name of the student of Xiong Wei's that you studied zb with? I want to see what his zb looks like. thanks tim
Rangga, I think its similar to the kundalini effect.
I saw butt-tucking..
