I found a website that had photos and form names and it had the form name at the top of each set of movements. Later poking around I found the form list and thought I would give it a try. What little I found out is that Sun Yong Tian created this "16" form set in 2006. He later taught it at the International Symposium in Nashville, TN in 2009. About all I can find out about it AND him. I wonder if he decided to create this short form because all the other families seem to be creating short forms and didnt want Sun shi to fall behind. Can anyone fill in a little info about Mr Sun? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Bo_VqC1-Vw I also find it a little curious about the 16 count. Seems he left out Strum the Lute, spots. I guess he just wanted to use those as transitions and didnt want the count to go too high.

I believe Sun Yongtian (no relation to the Sun Lutang family) was a student of Sun Lutang's daughter, Madame Sun Jianyun.
