I'm interested to know how stiking is done usualy in the Sun style Tai Chi Chuan.
In the form usualy the movements begins with a step, folowing with the weight transfer and striking (extension) at the end.
In practical use (at the real speed) I usualy strike with the weight dropping (shifting the weight). So I transfer the weight to the foot and in the same time I strike. What is your opinion about the "separation" of the weight transfer and strinking? Should not be done at the same thime?
