does anyone know much about the style Hwa Yu Tai Chi aka Liu He Ba Fa or its current Lineage holder Robert Xavier? I have jes recieved the book: The Chinese five word Song. i had long awaited a book on the style Liu He ba fa. I was quite disappointed with the constant mentioning of "The one true god, creator and savior, the lord Jesus Christ mentioned in the book or the references to the "christ in you" stuck in between passages of this mainly taoist martial arts text. Or what relevance in claiming that "Christians are the children of god". one of the most valuable things to me about studying ancient Taoist thought and martial arts is its ability to shed arrogance and labels. Which this book unfortunately seems to loose. does anyone know if this guy and his students are the real deal? Or should i expect in 10 yrs the evolution of Jesus Chuan. Id appreciate any thoughts on the subject.

There is a better book from Paul Dillon with the name "Liuhebafa Five Character Secrets". In this book is nothing about christianity. Just the translation and commentarys.

Hwa Yu was John Chung Lee's version of liu he ba fa. Mr. Lee taught in Boston back when no one had ever heard of lhbf so he gave it a recognisable name.
