Shifu Qichen Guo announced that Chen Style Taijiquan Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei’s will be in Los Angeles to teach US THIS WEEKEND.

> One of Shifu's personal instructors, Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei is widely recognized as one of the Top Ten Martial Artist in China, and is one of the leading figures in the spread of Chen Style Taijiquan in Europe and America over the past thirty years. A 19th generation successor, and the 11th generation inheritor of Chen Style Taijiquan, he is the author of the official and authoritative books and DVDs on all aspects of Chen Style Tai Chi, and has become well known as a popular guest instructor at seminars and camps worldwide.

> Grandmaster Chen will be holding classes this Saturday and Sunday, December 16th and 17th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at a martial arts practice space in a converted warehouse at 12711 Ramona Blvd. Suite #105, Irwindale, California 91706 - about 11 miles east of our Alhambra class location - 3061 West Valley Boulevard - a few of miles north of the intersection of I-605 and the 10 freeway.

> The Saturday class will be geared towards beginners with a likely emphasis on qigong, silk reeling and postures covered in the 18 Essentials and other related exercises. On Sunday Grandmaster Chen will teach his version of Old Frame Form, Road 1, and offer corrections.

> This is a great chance to get a lot of attention from an internationally grandmaster, a man noted for the beauty and power of his form. As Chen Zhenglei is one of our own Shifu’s teachers, Shifu Guo hopes that as many of you will make the effort to attend as many of the sessions as possible. Seminar fees are $60 for a half day session, $100 for a full day session and $150 for the whole weekend. These are bargain rates for a teacher of Grandmaster Chen’s stature. Other taijiquan schools would charge much more for a few hours with one of the Four Tigers, the acknowledged leaders of Chen Style Taijiquan worldwide.
