Heya,

Does anyone know which of the Yang family forms commonly taught is the oldest? Also, does the form taught by Yang Lu Chan still exist in an unmodified state?

These guys claim theirs is the oldest.

Forms tend to change as its passed along from teacher to student for one reason or another. One kung fu school I been at, I noticed that hardly any of the senior students if any did the forms exactly the way the sifu did it. Just the way it is. Although forms practice should reflect one's understanding of the principles of that system.

Thanx. I will do some research on that style and see what I come up with.
