Hey Tim,

Nice artical!! I liked the part about base meaning dynamic balance, I think lots of people forget that your in relation with anouther person, and that you need to be responsive to what they are doing! Also, I liked the crushing gaurd pass, I think I learned something!

Tim,

congrats: very nice stuff!

I immediately adopted the article in my training (as a matter of facts I'm one of your fans..) but I found difficult the second evasion from the guard(pushing away a resisting opponents's leg with my right hand): a smart partner finds easy to interpone his right arm and escape.

Will you ever produce a comprehensive book about grappling?

Hi European,
My partner and I have talked about doing another book, also focusing on one aspect of the ground fight. I doubt we'll ever try and write a book that could be considered "comprehensive" though.

I'd say that presently just about every grappling techniqes known is somewhere on a video tape though.
