Just a shout out to my friend Cecil Burch, a Megaton Dias black belt, for his SILVER medal at the European Open - black belt Senior 3, Super-Pesado!!!

He lost the championship match by advantage points...which means the ref got to decide who was pressing the action...could have gone either way.

Cecil is the most unassuming dangerous man you ever met - an expert trainer at Crazy Monkey (CM) boxing in addition to his BJJ skills, he is a student of Extreme Close Quarters Concepts, integrating practical, streamlined firearms and blade skills with his empty hand stuff, and has taught "Street Jits" and CM defense for us at the School of Budo.

He is also a devotee of Portland's own Voodoo Donuts!! What more is there in life!!
