Meynard Ancheta to Purple belt
Lem Luong to Blue belt
Brad O'Neil to Blue belt
White belts train between one and two years before being eligible for the Blue belt. The Purple belt is a great accomplishment in BJJ, 80% of Blue belts will never get to the Purple belt level. The Purple belt takes an average of five to seven years of continuous training time, and a good record in competition.
I'm very proud of these students for their dedication to training and hard work, and for stepping up to fight whenever I ask.
