Tom Brown (the famous tracker) talks about learning some kind of indigenous Apache (I believe) fighting skills from his teacher as a kid.

I think he talks about it in one of his first books.

I own most of Tom Brown's books(the real ones). The books I own are about the skills of living outside with just a knife if needed: tracking, edible plants, making shelters, etc.

His first book, "Way of the Scout" was written about his early days with the Native American figure he refers to as Grandfather. I read parts of that book. In one of he chapters he talked about how he and his friend "Rick" fought for days without rest using Native Amarican berserker fighting stuff. It's I possible to fight for days without rest. It was either a typo, outright lie, or more likely just embellishment.

A god friend of mind

A goodf toend of mine had been to most of his classes. The last I spoke to him Tom has yet to teach the "Wolverine berserker" fighting class. Many speculate that it doesn't really exist. I heard once that he was going to pass off US Special forces knife training(from one of his students) as these Native American techniques.

The man has the sirvival skills for sure. He can live in the woods and all that. The debate is where he learned them. There is no proof(that he has ever shown) that Grandfather and Rick ever existed. In one sense it doesn't matter because he can do all the Native American survival stuff. Can he fight using Native American techniques? We'll probably never know unless we can get proof of the Native American he trained with and get some video of these techniques. Just sayin.
