Tim won in over time by passing the guard and getting top mount position. Two Shen Wu blue belts, Matt and Chris, dominated their division. In the the white belt division, Garrett a 3 month student made it to the finals taking second place.

You all fought hard, I'm proud of all of you for stepping on the mat.
Thanks to my opponent Jeff Tirshfield, a Fabio Santos black belt for the fight. Jeff has the tightest half guard I've ever felt.
Congratulations also to my teacher Cleber Luciano for hosting one of the largest BJJ tournaments ever.

Extra congradulations to Tim Cartmell the great teacher(the Sun, Lu Tang of our generation) of all of the Shen Wu students that has worked hard to teach and win an intense match of the highest skill.
Even my 6 year old son said watching Tim fight is as fun as throwing stuff under the bleachers.
