The only thing that could add to that entertainment would be a post fight interview with Jeremy Bolluck.

how hard is it to see a double leg shoot coming? come on people.

the tkd guy had a neck braking lock, if the circumstances were different he mightve been able to pull off some on that guys neck, he did have the upper hand, atleast he did until he got mashed into the mat.

thats another problem with tournament matches, if the guy doesnt tap, what are you gonna do? go for the snap? even if its around the neck? i think the style of grapple techniques in tkd and wrestling submission differ greatly, tkd submissions arent designed to "tap out" the attacker.

all these mma warriors take refuge in the ability to tap out.

your name should be cracked out!
no body tap because they want to,it's because they feel it's gonna hurt or break.
you talk like someone who's never been in a submission in his life.
people go for the snap,it's just that the opponent tap first (sometime).
go to BBJ school (a good one)and see if you don't
"refuge in the ability to tap out"
get a clue man!!!!!!!

I feel kinda sad for that little TKD guy, I feel kinda bad for Travis Fulton too, it's gotta be upsetting to break some guys neck. The little Tkd guy had heart, thats more then you can say for most traditional martial artists.

tkd sucks!!!!!!!!!!!

"tkd and wrestling submission differ greatly"

True. The main difference is that TKD doesn't have submissions.

the look on the TKD kid's face was priceless; both when he was warming up with those axe-kicks, and when he was on the ground. The pre-fight trash talking and the ring warm-up... he really thought that he was the baddest thing in the world, ever.

and then his kicks, though of a ridiculuous variety anyways, weren't even that good...

actually i have nothing against TKD.
i have a problem with misinterpretations,
bruce lee said TKD is not a form or a system,
but a complete all including art.
so to say it doesn't have grappling is only relative,it depend on who is doing it!

ps. this guy didn't only get slammed,he was scooped off the ground and then slammed back down,
that's even better!!!!heart or not.

not that it matters in the least... but Bruce Lee was talking about JKD... not TKD.

Bruce invented JKD.
Billy Blanks invented TKD.

billy blanks invented a giant new wallet, to solve the problem that he and all of us real martial artists have... right bob?

By Jerry on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 - 12:48 pm: Edit Post

Bob, if we're going to talk all initials here, Billy Blank invented TB, not TKD.
OK?

FYI, Marc,
TKD is tae kwon do, a form of Korean karate known for high fancy kicks. It's very different from Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do (JKD). The discussion doesn't have anything to do with JKD or Bruce Lee.

glad someone called my BS!

fight MMA he need to involve, because his fancy
kick just didn't cut it.DID IT ???

tkd guy had the upper hand, the big guy got an ad rush and picked the guy up in berserker barrage mode and slammed the guy on his head in a panic/rage, if the little guy wouldve broke the big guys neck then it wouldve been all over.

and fyi, tkd has some grappling in it, oh ignorant one.
