takanori takes some great positions from single leg picks and a suplex
most of the matches are finished with a rear naked choke
(even though it's obvious there are fancier/flashier techniques both the opponents know)

I love Gomi. I thought he was an exceptional grappler, until I saw him versus BJJ:

Then, I realize he was a "good" grappler.
That video is Japan's Combat Wrestling. They have a great DVD set at budovideo.
"Punching changes everything" is the motto at our club.
He is a great fighter, but BJJ is his weakness.
A couple months with you Tim and he'd be more balanced.
