i was just wondering if you could suggest a few small waza to big waza combos, or any combo for that matter. i noticed that when sparring with the really good black belts, they always get me with super fast foot technique combos, just looking for a few pointers from a pro.

Can you be a little more specific?

i think most of the good players I know 'jab' with ko uchi or O uchi, before attempting something like uchi mata.
I do the same from o uchi gari into tai otoshi.

I fake a crappy seoi nage sometimes too, and when the guy retreats, i follow him with ko soto gari or ko uchi gari.

play with them. try something that will force them to counter some direction. Then chase them and attack with something easy to do when they are headed their new direction.
