After buying Rhadi's materials and receiving a CD with an interview with Dave Camarillo (who i was only somewhat familiar with), I went out and bought the book Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu and the DVD set Position Impossible.
I cannot recommend them both Highly Enough!
If i had some links, I would provide them...
essentially the gist of it is this:
How to incorporate the stand up skills of Judo with groundwork of JJ, especially as pertains to the integration of grips-throws-subbmissions, ie how to set up favourable position or the subbmissions as soon as you start grip fighting. Plus there's a lot of good material on the subject of ; here's how you use your BJJ in judo and vice versa.
Awesome stuff:

Jason,
I have the DVD. I love it!
I almost like the Book better, in that it's more technical/detailed.
How many of our posts ending up being for the benefit of the other, and few else...
preaching to the quire (i mean choir) and leading horses to water are both becoming less and less fulfilling to me.
That's not to reflect upon you, it's just your one of the few people that reads this forum that needs this type of instruction least. Perhaps someone will read this and... i dunno. Train in some grappling...
hey man! I'm a lurker . But I appreciate all you guys' posts! and since meeting with Backarcher, I am converted. Doing boxing and BJJ now. Have tried a bit of judo as well but it was really irritating my back. Anyways guys thx again
Bob
And another thing is that I've finally realized that to become good at martial arts u really don't need to go to some foreign land. Grappling/Boxing have caused my skills to improve vastly. I have never been happier in my martial arts training. Too bad I didn't figure this out when i was in my early 20's . Oh well. A BIG THANKS to TIM and Backarcher and this board as well! I hope one day to go and train with Tim!
In boxing/grappling can you learn to do this?

Bob,
I had a great time training with you. I'm overjoyed by your personal success and enthusiasm.
Keep it up!
Robert
Jason,
I appreciate all the info you share. I'm still learning!
wait a minute, was that real? cmon, seriously...
Robert,
If you truely understood IMA, you'd know.
Tim, this afternoon I saw the finished version of the standing grappling DVD you've been working on. It's real impressive. I even learned something new.
Bob#2
"...standing grappling DVD...?"
Can't wait!
"Can't wait"
but... you'll have to.
Does anyone know how long we must wait?
Tobias
Yes. You must wait until it is ready. Tim and Shane are still finalizing it.
Based on what i saw, its great!
(the only weird thing about it is that he choose to use two really big guys to demonstrate the techniques on. Which flies in the face of convention when it comes to other martial instruction tapes.)
Bob#2
like all my lifting videos, which show me (147lbs) and my soccer girls (125-140lbs) lifting stupid heavy.
well - I think Tim is kinda strange in that way -When looking on his other material on vhs it seems that he teaches stuff that actually works - and that not only on much smaller individuals
Tobias
i can honestly say that i DONT "truly" understand IMA's.
so was it real or not, cut the crap... 8O
if I 'cut the crap', you'd bleed.
Tobbe and all,
Tim's Standing Grappling DVD is very close to being completed. Tim saw the final version Sunday and liked it. However, I ran into a snag when I imported some archive footage. But it rocks. If I can't fix the issue soon, I'll just invite everyone over to watch it on my PC.
It is unlike any other martial arts instructional program I've ever seen... which is a good thing.
Shane
Shane
You just described EVERYTHING of Tim's, hence why I train with him! Nothing he does is like I have seen!
Jake
can't wait to see it
yes you can.
suppose I must
I just returned from visiting the 'editor'. He's a friggin mess. It seems everytime he's convinced the project is complete, he encounters another glitch. Physically, he's gone to putty and his bald spot has grown considerably in the last two months.
Supposably, he'll be done in the next day or two but judging by the circles around his eyes and his new twitchiness, I doubt it.
It almost made me feel bad for running off with the 10 spot he gave me to buy him some beer for another long night of work.
There's a sucker born every day.
bob #2,
you have the imagination of one who has not ventured through puberty.
Thanks, robert! I retract all the non-complimentary things I've thought about you.
