This is a good demo of the excellence of BJJ.

Very nice!
so well integrated-judo, sambo & wrestling into a more complete BJJ style of grappling. Judging from what I saw he was competent in both judo and free-style.
That is from his book/DVD combo package that is excellent! A top BJJ guy from what I have been told. I have had the great fortune to train with one of his top BB in Alberto Crane, and if he is any indicator then Draculino is awesome!
He just moved to Houston from Brazil and is teaching stateside now!
Jake
He seems to do lots of jacket work, pretty cool.
ironically, the brazilians have so much more respect for and understanding of stand up skills, judo in particular, than do their acolytes here in the states.
Mario Sperry said that's the biggest difference between the BJJ fighters in the states and in Brazil. Many Brazilians learn Judo first. Judo is bigger than BJJ in Brazil. Americans often come to BJJ without wrestling or Judo.
It's apparent in fighters like Jacare.
Flavio Canto is a master. Dave Camarillo (Guerrilla Jits fame) is hosting him in San Jose soon.
