These are some of my Favorite Aikido guys. They also have a nice podcast at http://usaikido.com/

Not only do they like to pound on each other, and actually see if they can get their stuff to work. They also respectfully ask about Aikido's history and other view points.

A boxing buddy of mine( and Teddy Altas) keeps criticizing boxers for backing up in a straight line. I know it's hard, but I think if he did back at an angle it would give him even more opportunities.

I think the first is machida doing a brush block sweep type move, and the second, i call standing armbar, lol.

Has some good video references to where these techniques can also be found in aikido.
