Abdullah salary men dont have time for Judo ?

Not really. At least not for the ones who do it in college in Japan. Unless they become security guards for a huge corporation that pays them to lift weights and do judo 5 days/week. It's like wrestling in the US. Kids do it in school, all through college. But once you have graduated, there aren't recreational facilities to practice wrestling. Not sure what the equivalent sport would be in Ireland. Maybe football or rugby?

Outside the Kodokan dojo in Tokyo and Osaka, and the Budokan, salary men might be able to train at the police dojo in their local city.

Guess it isn't dead in japan. just never got the same popularity that Kano's version did, at least in japan.

Thats interesting Abdullah , I dont think we really have an equivalent here , there is a mixture of levels of most sports played here , yiou can still find a team to play football, rugby etc when you are 40 , as well as an elite professional setup at the same time. the only equivalent here I can think of is maybe boxing if you havent made it to a high level in the amateur game where they are prepared to support you towards competing in the Olympics etc by the time you are 20-21 you are probably washed up.

It is a sign of the times going by us that once upon a time, boxing was the king of fight sports.

I really just want to call it ancient history, in a very respectable way of course.

mma seems to be the new proving grounds for fighters. I know that people can appreciate a fighting style, or sport that has (almost) unlimited, or at least a wider array of choices to victory.

Football? well, imo its a waste of time and tax money. Football used to be a method of training to teach soldiers how to move on the ol' battlefield. Now its an "industry".

Industry... the danger to all sports, media, and anything worth paying attention to. Well, it is a good thing until people start selling their stuff out to retards. Then again there is always intellectual theft. So i guess we are screwed.

In the future, expect womens bikini judo.

Would you watch it? Would I? hmm...
