So while digging through the huge pile of awesome material on his youtube page I came upon this snippet at the end of a clip. At the end of the clip there is a couple minutes of takedowns into locks and strangles as well as some actual stuff on the ground. I'm not sure how much of it is just freestyle reacting versus he has "an idea in his head" kind of deal. Either way, I thought he had some very interesting ideas. Your thoughts?

Mike had a great understanding of locking and throwing. His ground work was nill, what you see is just him playing. Last time he was in town I actually taught him some groundwork that he thought was awesome! He told me that he thought BJJ was amazing and highly encouraged me to continue my training in it.
He will be missed.

He sounds like a great instructor. I'm sorry he's gone.
Me too Stephen. And he was a great teacher.
