Here's what I'm talking about. I have nothing against old teachers or old people. I have problems with teachers that could do when they were younger and revert to a more philosophical way of teaching later on.
In my wrestling class we have coaches that train us and still spar with is. Their teacher joined the class to "help out". Instead he brings up tai chi alignment and moves out of the tai chi form that compliment the throw. "Turn your hand this way and he will go down." It's hard to put into words what I'm trying to say.
His way of teaching is good for tradtional marital art classes that have technique practice and no sparring. It is terrible for combat sports, IMO.
teachers have no place in these kinds of classes.
Marital arts... lol
Just to warn you, internal marital arts are outlawed everywhere, except in Utah.
Its worth noting that Utah is where the toothbrush was invented.
Had in been invented anywhere else it would be called a "teethbrush".
LOL
