Hi

Some of my friends that are in to MA they do cross - fit as an complementary training
couse they get the cardiopart and the strenghtpart
they say - but there is not movements that
mimic the ones they do when they do their MA
- no shadowboxing or stuff like that

When looking at some of the yoga - like trainingforms out there , thinking of ginastica naturale, some of the animal -forms I can see that you going to get stamina, flexibility and strenght that you can use in your type of MA but when looking at this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6BBk3Nvj9k
that shows a lot of strength and flexibility

How do you transfer it in to the MA that you're in to ? Is it geared to more "groundgame" sports as BJJ
Are there any "animal - forms" geared to stand - up MA's?

I believe if you do extra exercise to get stronger and do your martial arts training you will have the complete package. They don't necessarily have to be complementary as long you are doing harder martial arts training.

to get better at fighting, you have to fight.

Fighting is not a pushup contest...
