Hi there - I got the tape but I cant get hold of the book (other than paying 200 dollars or something from a book dealer).
Anyway - there's an exercise that Im having real trouble with where Tim stands with legs fairly far apart, holds both his ankles and then sits into one leg, releases his ankles and does a kind of 'pulling a rope' exercise whilst on that leg. (sounds dodgy but those that train with him probably know what Im on about)
The problem I get is I cant get to that depth yet without leaning forward, which means I cant do the rowing/pulling movement- so my question is
Is it better to go to the required depth and just sit in that position to build strength, or should I go as deep as I can whilst maintaining upper body position, or something else?
Aside from that I'm really noticing improvements through the exercises - a great tape
Thanks
Paul/Kaitain
Paul,
It's best to start in a higher stance, maintaining correct (upright) posture and do the pulling exercise. As your strength and flexibility increases, you can gradually lower the body.
Thanks for the response Tim - I dont suppose you know anywhere that still has retail copies of your book around? Plumflower are waiting for a reprint apparently.
Thanks
Paul
I don't know of anywhere that still has the book. Unique Publications owns the distribution rights.
I&I sports in Carson has a bunch of copies
I checked them out but apparently there are none in stock.
I found a secondhand copy online for a reasonable price so I went with that.
