Tim-

Was going to add this to the "Can qi be used..." thread but thought it would be better as its own discussion:

Besides your translations, have you thought about a book on Shenwu Concepts? Along the lines of Effortless Combat throws, but combining that info (with your evolving perspective) with ground grappling and standup striking?

You would make a profit and provide information of interest to other folks out here. I'd love to see an in-depth treatment of your views on BJJ in principles, structure, and application as consistent with IMA principles - so much more credible from someone of your accomplishments.

Thats the best idea I've heard this year. I would buy it as soon as it came out

This year is only 20:51 hours old. You're frikin' rude!

I've thought about writing more on the subject.

I have one more translation I've finished and need to get published, maybe after that.

My next plan is for instructional DVDs on standing grappling.

Tim,

That would be excellent. Will it be more "joint-locking" or "clinching" or a combo? I'd be overjoyed if it was clinching.(Bias)

More about common street situations (headlocks, bodylocks, tackles) and clinches than joint locking.

Thanks!

both projects would be eagerly anticipated Tim. I've really enjoyed everything that I've picked up in the past, and I cannot think of anyone in the CMA world that I can place more trust in, or whose products are consistently of value.

Thanks!
