I was watching Ace Ventura Pet Detective and Ace let go of a loogie into a Chieftains face-a sign of affection-that must have been travelling 100mph.

Is that what the IMA mean when they use this terminology?

Oh you mean "spit." I don't think it's supposed to be taken literally.

Sometimes mistranslated as 'eating and drinking', 'drinking and spitting',etc. I'm curious about this too. Found something once that it refers to breathing techniques and another that it refers to chi circulation. "A manner of drinking and spitting is either hard or soft". Never saw the movie.
