Are those styles the same or two different styles?

Pa Chi is the Wade Giles romanization of Baji.

and in the mainland. i am up north near siping/changchun, and the sense that i got from some of the local martial artists is that it is the . I had never heard of it back in the states, but it seems to be along the same lines as a Hsing Yi. It is very direct and very interested in the devolopement of striking power. There is lots of stomping as well. It's all over the place here, but I'm not sure that there are a lot of teachers in the west. Probably worthwhile if you are interested in 'internal' martial arts and hitting people, hard.
