Since the dawn of man, we have needed martial arts for survival. Hunting, and self defense. man created tools from the animals they gathered. Bone knives, hammers, axes, flint knives for cleaning hides, parting meals.

Evolving into the bow, smelting of metals to create alloys, these alloys then used in the construction of buildings, and machines.

Arrows turned into bullets, bullets into missiles, missiles into nuclear warheads.

Nuclear powered cities, cities powered by a weapon of mass destruction. and weapons powered by people.

Through martial arts, we learn countless other things.

Most of them are mistakes, and harsh lessons, as is training, and fighting itself.

But what we learn from martial arts, aside from fighting, is what is truly valuable. imo

.... and one day in the future humans will no longer make 'ha ha ha' sounds when they laugh.
Instead there will be a chorus of "LOL" sounds.
