One good reason to quit is cost. You’ll have more money if you give up tobacco. Of course, quitting also protects you from debilitating illness that can cost even more in the long run.

Speaking of debilitating – believe it or not smoking can have a profound, negative effect on a person’s love life. In addition to making you smell bad, affecting your breathing, and wrinkling your skin, smoking can destroy blood vessels, especially tiny blood vessels, which can impede your sex life.

Smoking has been linked directly to sexual dysfunction in men, and it's believed to have a similar effect in women. One noted urologist, speaking on the news program 60 Minutes, said when he sees a man smoking, he wonders when -- not if -- he will experience erectile dysfunction.

Studies show that tobacco-users in general don’t live as long as non-users.

Smoking makes its biggest assault on the lungs. People with Chronic Obstructed Pulmonary Disease or Emphysema often end up on oxygen and cannot live a normal life. Many can't walk a few feet without having to sit down and try to catch their breath. Cancer that starts in the lungs of many smokers can often have devastating effects, spreading throughout the body to involve the liver, kidneys, bones, and brain.

Here's a reason to start smoking, It looks hella cool. Also you can use cigars to light dynamite, and you can hide your poison darts in with your cigarets. Sometimes you can make a small spy camera look like a pack of cigs, and that's sweet. Also smoking keeps mosquitos away, and mosquitos commonly carry the malaria, and trust me if it's between a little cough and malaria, guess what I'm picking. Cigarets help to boost the economy, they are a cash crop you know, by getting people to stop smoking you are actually taking food off the farmers tables, and that's not fair.

I totally agree. Smoking is the bomb. I smoke 3 packs of Lucky Strikes a day. It was a habit I picked up when I was in the military. A pack and a cup of coffee before PT, a pack for lunch, and a pack after dinner. Nothing beats Vitamin N.

Smoking is also a good way to pick up loose women. If you haven't noticed, most loose women smoke. You can offer them a cig to get the conversation going.

When I was in Navy boot camp we were encouraged to quit smoking. During this period, in my 80 man training unit, 2 men quit smoking, about 17 started.
