almost got in a fight with a landlord/manager. I was visiting a apartment complex near a school I went to where I used to go to a long time ago when I lvied in this town I recently moved to (lived there 10 years ago as well) so I wanted to check out some former places I spend alot of my childhood, and I went to an apartment where my friend lived and I knew alot of people and walked aorund a bit, a guy came out of this building and started giving me telling me to get out of there and asking me what Imd oing there, thinking this is a free country and Im allowed to go wherever I said I was looking for an old friend that used to live there, he kept getting angrier and mroe threatening and coming closer to me while saying he was the manager and (liek that gives him the property rights t the whole apartment complex lol) so once he got real close to me and after he said a few more threatening thigns I grabbed him by his collar and asked him what is his problem. He froze like a bitcha dn looked like he was gonna piss his pants and didnt say a word, I elt go of him and started said I wont come back and started leaving (I didnt want him to press charges or anything against me) and all of a sudden this big guy came out of the place he was in earlier and the guy was like "its ok" or something and I kept wlaking while both of them stayed there and stared at me. Later when I was coming back two cop cars drove past me.

1. Trespassing on private property. 2. The person responsible for the property identifies himself and indicates to you that he doesn't want you there (Which is within his authority), so rather than leaving... 3. You attack him. And you think you were the good guy??

If any of your story is true, you need to grow up and get rid of the attitude.

I don't really think there is ever a "good guy" or a "bad guy". I however woulndn't use a collar grab; if that guy had been armed, and you scared him, you might have found yourself dead or wounded, you should keep your distance till the fight starts. If you're going to fight, fight, otherwise keep your distance and skidattle.

he wasnt the owner I dont think all he identified himself was the manager, so basically he was like one of those people living ther ebu getting cheap or free rent because he cleans up and collects checks from people. Also I didnt violate his peronal space by walkign toward his face like he did to mine, and if after he started attacking me or doing anything beside moving backwards after I grabbed him I would have put him in some other chojke where he couldnt get me (probably with a knife yes he could I know).

Enforcer, the point is: kick the MF's ass, or leave. If you let him decide when to act, then you let him jerk your chain. If your safety is in danger, there is no debate. Otherwise, you started it, or you let him finish it.

You seem to have a pretty exciting and complexed life Enforcer, or an over active imagination.

kenneth I dont think I have a ko punch so if I hit him or started throwing bombs at him he might fall but will get up right away and possibly start following me or write my license plate number and tell the cops a bullshit story that would get me in trouble.

I had that happen ocne actually like a year and a half ago before I started training at a new gym (had like 6 months off not doing anything physical) and hit a guy straight on the upper jaw bone and he didnt even fall, all he ddi was stumble back a bit. Its very hard to ko somebody unless theyre a complete wuss or you beat themr eally bad where you could hospitalize them.

Enforcer,

That guy is probably laughing at you right now. Go back with a can of gasoline and burn his car. Burn the whole complex down. Buy an assault rifle. Somebody has got to teach these kids a lesson. What are you looking at?

You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then you the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well I'm the only one here. Who the do you think you're talking to? Oh yeah? Huh? Ok.

It seems you have these same problems everywhere you go.

Did you stop and think it is you and not others.

Aw, don't be too hard on the guy, I enjoy his crazy stories.

I understand KO punching is technique rather than just brute force. Enforcer, have you tried joining a church?

"... he didnt even fall, all he ddi was stumble back a bit..."

You could probably learn HOW and WHERE to strike to make that one shot count???

But, then... it's probably better to read some of the other posts... and grow up... and get a life???

I know how to (in the jaw/chin or temple) but when I spar in boxing and even hit full force all it does is hurt the guy and they continue right after. I aint Mike Tyson or anything.

Actually trouble always finds me not the other way around. If you notice with most thugs and criminals they dont go out looking for trouble but it always finds them. My thug friend I posted about earleir is a perfect example. People are always trying to prove themselves by challenging him. Here is an example that shows philosophy of skinhead type groups and msot of them dont feel they look for trouble but ppl are out to get them:

Hi Enforcer,

Remember that the key knockout power is the legs. Go do some squats and deadlifts.

The problem with hitting people is that many are willing to hit you back ...

Some will fold with a relatively light tap; some will need power, accuracy and repeated blows while you may have to take a few in return; and there is always the risk that you will hit someone with "everything you got" and they just smile at you.

Can't always tell by looking at someone just what category they will fall into ...

It's much better in the long run to grow-up and learn to stop situations from getting ugly.

Enforcer, actually I agree with you. That landlord was an regardless of whether or not he was within his legal rights. The trouble with our society is that it gives free expression to those who wouldn't have the balls to be so free if they knew they might get their head lopped off for expressing themselves.

On the other hand, if trouble just seems to "find" you, perhaps you need to realize that although it isn't because of an active pursuit for it on your part, you are passively disregarding a responsibility to others.

Anyone who has the problem of "trouble always finding you" needs to read this article/interview.

If for some reason you are anti-Ninjutsu or Jack Hoban just forget who is talking in the interview because it is not about any of that. It is focused on the Warrior Creed of Dr. Humphrey, and the Marine Martial Arts program.
