Has any one else heard about this? According to scientists and weatherpeople our entire planet may soon be slithering with worms.

It has something to do with the extremely mild, tremendously tepid winters we've been experiencing over the last few years. I guess without a deep freeze annually, worms produce at a rapid pace and will soon devour everything.

In my early 20s I had a job as an Earth Worm Wrangler. Trust me, they have power in numbers... and long, brooding hatred for humans, and fish hooks.

This could be horrible. Hell hath no fury like a worm scorned.

In Scandinavian myths, the wakening of the "Great Worm" would result in his shaking the foundations of the universe as part of the end of days... I'm not sure Odin and the guys were thinking of nightcrawlers but you never know. They did a lot of drinking in Valhalla after a day of fighting each other.
