Im in Poland now for a month to visit some of my relatives and the third day here I already almost got in a fight. Here is what happened, I was walking through a small town were my aunt works and I didnt see anyone I knew form the years before I was here ecept one guy earlier so I was looking for some faces, and went to the park. I talked to some girls there who knew my cousin and later started walking back. As I walked back there were two guys around 18-19 or so sitting on bikes and starring at me, that I saw starring at me from kind of far away. As they kept starring as I got closer I started feeling real agitated and uncomfortable esp since they had like a hate type stare or that theyw ere looking for a victim. I at the end couldnt help but to stare back as I passed them cause I didnt know if theyre gonna try blind siding me and got so nervous I said "whats up" to them in Polish, and they ignored it and I kept walking. After some steps I turned aorund to see if they were still starring at me and low and behold they were, and I kept my gaze for a few seconds than kept walking. After a bit I noticed they got on their bikes and started heading my way so I got off the pavement and onto the dirt side of the bath so they couldnt spit on me or hit me form their bikes without me first realizing they ar eoff the pavement or heading toward me. They got close to me and one of them asked "what did u say earlier?" and I replied "I said whats up", than he said "what is sopposed to be up?", and I said "you two were starring at me and I didnt know what was up", and he was like "oh ok t=its cool than we thought we knew you or you looked familiar", than I started saying how I know some people here and to try diffusing the situation further I said I know some people form here and gave them a name to see if they know him. They didnt really hear me I dont think as they were talking to each other. They turned and left.

At this point I felt really aguitated and uncomfortable about the whole thing and decided to sit down not far form the park on a bench. I kept wanting to go back there and se if theyll try anything else or comfront them and jsut fight both of them even though I felt that I will lose (I am horrible at street fights esp outnumbered and once in which im agitated, scared, or uncomfortable in cause than I become wild and fight like a maniac forgetting everything I learned). I felt that even if I only fought one of them id probably just tie them and swing at their head and miss as they lean back like often it happens to me when I spar or fight street type people.

ANyway as I sit I look and oh and behold they are coming back toward me and this time they brought two friends along so there is 4 of them. I keep sitting and am not sure if those are the same guys and kind of look straight to try not getting into a starring match with them or agitating them further. As they get close one of the new guys gives me this horrible stare down type look like hes about to kill me and I look away form him and at a wall in front of me but have a type of look like I waiting for something to happen or seeying something from the corner of my eye, they almost stop right in front of me when they egt real close and I hink were at that point deciding whether to attack me or not. I move my legs from one of their bikes not to give a further exuse for them to attack me, and they pass by and leave. ANyway thats my story, I dont always find trouble most of the time trouble finds me.

anyway I think they tried to make a target out of me cause I was alone and looked probably like I wasnt from the area nor had any friends there. I also said something to them isntead of keeping on walking due to fear. But when I didnt back down and started breaking down or apologising but straight out told them they starred at me I think they realized what happened and backed out or they just backed out cause I wasnt gonna play their game. It really showed me though how weak I can be in those situations cause when I was talking back to them I talked kind of fast and had fear in my voice and blabbered on to try diffusing the situation instead of saying only a few words and to the point. I also should have starred back at them when 4 of them were walking back or went back there myself, this would have showed alot more courage to them.

I also think I should have just fought them, even if I lost it would have given me alot more street cred here and experience.
