I am looking to buy a double end strike bag but was wondering if folks had any recommendations on brands or models. I remember the last one I owned (about 25 years ago!) and I remember being less than happy with it (I am pretty sure it was an Everlast, the cheesy ones from Big 5 Sporting Goods).

So any recommendations?

just make sure you buy one thats filled with sand, and not that ripped up cotton material stuff because it clumps up and hurts like hell when you kick it sometimes. sand is much much better, but more expensive.

there is also the preference of what the bag is made of. there is that pleathery stuff, and then theres the fabricky stuff. well anyway, if you use it properly, you will hitting a punching bag wrapped in duct tape in no time, especially if you practice edged weapons on it. haha
