if three guys armed with guns came at night to ur house to try to kill you and you were awake kind of waiting for them? How would you disarm them or survive without getting shot or killed? Would you wait behind a door or wall as they came by and try knocking the first out or stunning him with a punch and quickly trying to grab his gun either on him or in his pants? If so would you then shoot the rest to kill and face possible prosecution and prison (depending whether they really were armed or if the guns were hidden or in plain view) or shoot at their legs and getting shot and killed in the body in the process? Would they still be able to hold their guns upright and shoot you after getting shot in the legs? These are all hypothetical questions I at one point was facing as a gangster lived not far from me trying to threaten me when I had my case and he was a drug dealer who not long after got locked up and now has 4 years.

I just feel so paranoid in California that just defending yourself in your own house you can be charged. What would you guys have done in such situation?
