Tim's Discussion Board: Xing Yi Quan: Yi Quan?

By marc daoust on Friday, April 21, 2006 - 12:54 am: Edit Post

dear jerry did you tried it?or just open your
med books or just your mouth?
have you heard of mel siff?
he wrote in his book (super training)
that for any motion where one have to bend the legs(like squat),it's better to arch the back.
but for motions overhead and standing straight
it's better to flatten the back(tuck the tail bone in)because the core will be activated more
and that is the biggest stabaliser of the whole torso.but who is mel siff?
you must be way above that, you're jerry for
sake!!!!!
ps. it's not because you can say a lot of fancy
words and act like you know it all, about it all,
that we are all going to take you seriously!
if IMA is no better or worst than EMA, what is the reason to do IMA then???????
and you seem to love hating me!!!(that turns me on!)but if you want to ignore me you need to stop writing pages and pages about me!!!!

"you seem to love hating me!!!(that turns me on!)but if you want to ignore me you need to stop writing pages and pages about me!!!!"

Marc,

I don't hate you, and I certainly don't love to hate people. That's sick.

I'm not surprised to hear you say
you get turned on by being hated. I kind of suspected that. I'm sure it doesn't give you real satisfaction. You have your head in a very dark place. Too bad. I sincerely hope that some day you do learn the difference between your ass and a hole in the ground, so you won't be such a pain in the ass to yourself and everyone else, but I accept that I can't make any difference with you at this time.

I hate what you do to this board. I wish Tim would kick you off again, permanently. You have absolutely nothing positive to contribute, you don't even to try to follow the discussions, but you insist on jumping into every single one of them anyway, with nothing but drivel.

You're kind of like a stay dog pissing everywhere-- or sometimes I think of the image of Clarabelle the clown riding through on a tricycle honking a horn. I wish you'd go do it somewhere else.

I haven't written anything ABOUT you. I've written quite a bit TO you, trying to explain some of this stuff that you're confused about, because I thought for a minute there that you had a real interest. Now I understand that it's pointless trying to explain anything to you, discuss anything with you, or reason with you, I won't be doing that.

What I have to say ABOUT you, and I may say it a few more times on other threads, is, let's all just ignore this guy and maybe he'll eventually go away. Skip over his posts and for Jah sake don't answer them. That's what I plan to do.

do you realize how you just skip the core of what i say, and only hear the bad stuff(what you want
to hear)
i'll repeat it for you.have you read Mel Siff's
book?have you tried what i said?
of course not, your too happy to dismiss everything i say.if you're so internal and sensitive to your own body, you would be able to feel what i'm talking about.
ps.why are you so upset over a bunch of words?
that's all it is WORDS!
you might train martial art without opposing force with force, but you're sure not doing that in
this board!

I've tried what you said and it feels weak and stupid.

What is the reason you never see pro atheletes using that posture? (soccer players, basketball players, base ballers, hockey, swimmers, ice skaters, gymnists. Even Chinese and Japanese Olympians seem to dimiss what you understand)

i was not saying that it was a strong posture.
is a standing chi kung posture,to straighten and lengthen the spine.
it can't be over exagerated neither!
but what do you do when your back is tight?
you bend and round forward.why? to stretch and relieve the pressure in the spine.
ps. i'm not the one who invented it,
i was talking about BK frantzis!
you should ask him why?!

BK frantzis invented bad posture???

that could be construde as slander, lil fella.

Bob
Is that really slander or just an opinion? Since posting on this board I have been threatened twice with legal action in regards to slander (not by you of course) which I find ludicrous on a internet chat room. Weird, only has ever happened on this board.
Cheers
Jake

this is for you boob #2.
from BK "opening the energy gates of your body"
page 48;"your spine should be straightened by:
(1)gently rolling the hips under.
(2)using the inner back muscles to push the kidneys slightly back.these 2 processes will make the lower part of the spine totally straight."
page 50;"round the chest and raise the spine,
is a fundamental technique found in all Taoist meditation,IMA's, and chi gung practices, regardless of school,"
these are quotes from his book, not from me.
look it up, and shut up.

If I wanted to- I could quote hundreds of wacky things and tell you 'they are quotes from a book- look it up and shut up'.

But I'm too good for that.

i'm not a liar!
i might be an ass or a jerk.
or whatever you want me to be.
but, that is really from his book.look it up!

"but you're too boob for that"

I didn't call you a liar- I called the BK Francis' quote "wacky".

Just because something was written in a book doesn't mean it is true.

I'm not a boob. I don't even have nipples.
