Have you read the article on Xingyi Tai Chi by John Page in the latest (Sept/Oct) issue of Kung Fu Qigong? I picked up the magazine at the bookstore and found this article. One of the first things he says is that Xingyi Tai Chi is the style of Xingyi that Sun LuTang learned, and that his Sun Taiji was not a new creation but just Xingyi Tai Chi with a new name. Apparently Mr. Page is a disciple of Li Tai Liang. I have one of Li Tai Liang's videos and it is really good, but I thought it was supposed to be Shanxi Xingyiquan.

I've seen it, people have been discussing it, there doesn't seem to be any evidence to support it, and no one else in China (that I've ever met) has ever made the claim.

Yeah homeboy pretty much made un-substantiated claim and has yet to back anything up. Just BS by BSers. I agree that Li Tai Liang's stuff is solid, but some of his students seem a bit.....off.
