Hi all,

I am new to Beijing and looking to do some martial arts here. I am looking for Xingyi or Bagua as my first choices but would be happy as long as I could find a good teacher in any style really. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Thanks!

Michael

Yin style Baguazhang lineage holder He Jinbao is in Beijing and trains a truly martial baguazhang. See his web site www.yinstylebaguazhang.com and contact Matt Bild or the contact person. Matt is one of He Jinbao's top students and is friendly and extremely helpful and solid. I doubt you'll find a better situation if you're interested in actual effective chinese martial arts in Beijing.
You can google articles about He Jinbao and his methods of teaching and martial philosophy by googling feature articles about him in Tai Chi magazine and Asian Journal of Martial Arts, they are representative of what he teaches.
