Tim, I know you spent some time studying with Liang Ke Quan. Did you ever seem him demonstrate this?

Also, just what was your experience with him in general. I have read that he loved to fight. Did you ever get to cross hands with him. I read that you learned the "ground dragon cannon" method from him. Is this true?

I saw him do the tree hitting many times. He liked to demonstrate it everytime someone new came to visit. And as a side note, in contrast to the description on the Youtube clip, I never heard Liang Laoshi talk about using "qi," he believed his ability came from the trained force developed primarily through forms practice.

My experience with him in general? He was the toughest man I ever met.

I'm never sure what people mean by "cross hands." If you mean did I train with him the answer is yes, and it was always hands on training. If you mean did we have some kind of no holds barred free fight, the answer is no, he was my teacher.

Yes, I learned the Ground Dragon Cannon from him.

Tim thanks for the indepth response. I have read quite a bit about master liang and he seemed like a pretty cool cat. Did you just study xing yi with him or also his bagua and taiji methods? Also, how long did you study with him if you dont mind me asking? haha

Jake: haha, I do not doubt your words. I was only trying to get Tim to talk about his training somewhat, haha.
