Hello everybody! I hope you can help me. I'm interested in training in Ba Gua Zhang and was wondering if there are any qualified instructors in San Diego Ca.
I have a background in Aikido and Wing Chun(not that that matters when it comes to studing a new art)but have always been interested in Ba Gua
If anybody on this board has any recommendations or suggestions as to where to find a good Ba Gua teacher in SD I would most appreciate it.

Mike Patterson, I would guess, is still in La Mesa (over by Grossmont Shopping Mall). He has, in a sense, solid credentials. He studied under Hsi Hong Chi in Taiwan for many years.

On the downside, Mr. Patterson is not likely to win any personality contests.

Thanks for the suggestion Brian. I met Mr Patterson in the mid-90's when I was again looking for a Ba Gua teacher in SD. While I'm sure he is skilled I didn't get a good vibe from him(personality thing) and decided not to study with him. Instead I went back to Aikido and Wing Chun. I'm still interested in finding a quality Ba Gua teacher in San Deigo...anybody please help!!
